Pungry’s Thirsy: Fitz’s Root Beer

Fitz’s Root Beer, much like the band Fitz and the Tantrums, is shallow and too sweet for its own good. It has the same exact taste as a normal root beer as it first hits the tongue, but then fizzles out right after. Just like “Out of My League” by Fitz and the Tantrums, it tries to knock out the taster with a quick right hook and then stick around without having to do anything else. It is a song with the same exact hook throughout without ever finding a way to make it more interesting. Just like the the album “More than just a Dream”, by Fitz and the Tantrums, it is unable to conjure anything of substance. Stick to indie pop sodamakers/bands who know what they’re doing, like Big E and Passion Pit.
